The front panels are made in a print cloth with the rest of the panels on the corset made from a plain cloth. This helps give the illusion of a very dramatic waist reduction and draws beholder's eye to this reduction. To compliment this there is a ribbon ruffle trim at both the top and bottom of the corset, which at the top also provides cleavage cover for the more modest wearer.
